“Inversions is a new series of works developed as a response to Darst’s earlier video series Earth.Art. In Earth.Art,animated 3D models were introduced into natural landscapes. Inversions uses the footage from the earlier series as a texture for new models, which will be projected onto surfaces in the surrealist gardens of Las Pozas. The pieces are a reflection on landscapes, internal and external, and the architecture of our digital environment. This series was created expressly for Apache Projects and The Eternal Internet Brotherhood.”
